ANSWER: Dr. Phil (McGraw)

The owner of this lurid, funhouse-like breakfast room–who apparently likes to watch himself masticate–is none other than Dr. Phil McGraw, the tough talking celebrity psychologist who got his start on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

In anticipation of the start of his long running and screamingly successful talk show on which he dishes out advice and opinion with a blunt tongue, Dr. Phil and his wife Robin moved from Texas to Tinseltown in search of fame and fortune. And fame and fortune did Dr. Phil find, in spades. In December of 2002 the newly and wildly rich McGraws forked over around $7.5 for a massive mansion in Beverly Hills.

Although there were whispers and reports that the McGraws wanted to sell their home in the Spring of 2008 when the tabloids were filled with rumors that the couple was on a fast train to divorce court, the property only recently hit the open market with a knee buckling asking price of $16.5M.

According to current listing information, the McGraw's11,000+ square foot Mediterranean style mansion includes 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms including an expansive master suite comprised of a large bedroom with fireplace, private balcony, and humongous his and hers bathrooms and dressing rooms that are each larger than most Manhattan studio apartments. Ironically and despite the ongoing legal dispute the McGraws are having with the two decorators who did up their master suite, listing information bills it at, "the most sensational master retreat with his and hers baths in this market."

The lavishly decorated dwelling–some might say over-decorated dwelling–features an impress the guests style entrance hall with a soaring double height ceiling and two curving staircases. The homes main living and entertaining spaces include a double height formal living room, formal dining room, family room that opens to the rear dining terrace that overlooks the backyard gardens, library, billiard room, theater, and fitness center. Beyond the backyard swimming pool and spa there is a fully detached 2-bedroom guest casita.

Although it would be foolish to rush to a conclusion, the McGraws officially listing their Beverly Hills mansion immediately reignited the rumors that their 30-some year marriage is on the rocks. However, the Gossip Cop website says the rumors are bunk and, in fact, that according to "a source close to Dr. Phil" the McGraws have already purchased a new home.
