Using bracelets and bangles as napkin rings is easy when decorating for a special occasion table. Plus, it's a clever way to re-purpose old baubles (or an excuse to buy new ones).

A $49.00 napkin ring?
ReplyWell...if it is just sitting there, it is better than no use @ all. I use old chain necklaces & belts or the cheapo ones for lace sheer curtain tie backs...love the airy look.
Sheeeesh .... AOL running out of silly ideas for silly women? The size of an average bangle would hold a small tablecloth in its grasp. A napkin would look ridiculous. Good grief .... come ON .... we deserve better ideas than this one!
ReplyThis is the most absurd article. One bangle bracelet would be too big for one napkin and look ridiculous. Better to fold it decoratively and put it into a wine glass or on the plate.

ReplyI thought this article would give us some interesting recycling ideas for old beaded bracelets...like restringing them into something different. This was a disappointment. Anyone can take some expensive bracelets and put them on the table. I agree with other posters that bangle bracelets are quite large for a napkin. But that may be a look some people would put on their table.
Replythis is just sad- anyway, napking rings are supposed to be used to identify ones own napkin-a fresh napkin is used fpr breakfast and placed in ones personal napkin ring and used again for lunch and dinner then a fresh napkin is used the next day
