Farm Chic Decorating

I like to dream about owning a country house someday – maybe a converted barn on a few acres a ways up the Hudson River. Like any city dweller I dream of a yard and more than one tiny bedroom. However, for me, what would be most exciting about a second home would be the chance to decorate and furnish a whole new home!

L.L.Bean Opens Home Store

This weekend, L.L.Bean will unveil its first home goods store in Freeport, Maine. Like Bean's flagship location, the Home shop will be open 24 hours a day -- In fact, the store's opening ceremonies begin tonight at midnight and continue all weekend. (If you need motivation to stay up that late, the first 500 customers will receive gift cards worth up to $500!)
