Far-Flung Friday: York House is Pretty in Portugal
Until now. The York House in Lisboa, Portugal has changed my views -- one lovingly decorated room at a time. With modern, crisp furnishings and an incredible scenic exterior, the York House has had my heart going pitter-pattering for Portugal since, ohhhh...9am this morning. Once a former convent, the York House became a hotel in early 1880. Of course, the "hotel" housed one small oven and offered a spare bedroom for rent. Almost 130 years later, the York House has come a long way, baby.
