Get the Look for Less: Glam Living Room

I was inspired by this living room designed by Kishani Perera of Kishani Perera Interior Design. I love when designers mix an unexpected style (think: lucite, animal print rug, hot pink accents) into a more traditional home space. It's glitzy, it's glam, its eclectic, and I wish it was mine.

Fiona Dyer, owner of Fede Textiles, is a mother, wife, artist, crafter and interior designer -- whew! On a June day in 2008, she pulled up to this 1957 rancher, and though it was a bit overgrown and in need of TLC, she knew that she was just the person to give it the attention it needed. The location was perfect, and it was love at first sight. Ah, a house love story. Aren't they the best kind?

I think the first time I saw a Maserati on the road was when I lived in San Diego, California. I remember seeing it, then wondering what kind of car it was, and slowly creeping up on it to check it out. They sure are nice looking cars. I can see how Maserati wants to see them parked in nice-looking garages too!
